Malcom, data is the one basic component of trading that you must keep
at a reasonable level of quality. The whole process of developing/
testing/trading strategies, involves quality data at its core. If you
can't trust the data, you can't trust your trading strategy.
With data, you definitely get what you pay for.
I use Norgate's data ( http://www.premiumdata.net/ ), and I would
consider getting a second job before having to give it up for cheaper
data. ;)
