[EquisMetaStock Group] Version 8 system tester

I've just stumbled across "Sprunger Guide to MS ver8.doc" in 
http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/equismetastock/files/

This is a real horror story - "the v8 tester can
give very different results from the v7 tester when using the same 
system on the same security with the same time periods." (quote).

Does anyone have any comments?  It seems to me that the only people 
who could comment would be those who have tested identical scenarios 
using the MS 7.2 and MS 8.0 system testers.
