A discussion brought up the name of a software called
MetaCareBase. I seem to recall some years ago this being
something being used to calculate indices etc. Anyone
know this?

I use that all the time John. What I need is far beyond the DL capability.
Either the Indices Builder suggested by Daniele Bevilacqua and the
Bodhi Freeway suggested by Jonathan King might prove to be what I need.
Still other suggestions are much welcome.

Have you tried the Downloader itself? Open File\New\Composite... and create
a new security that way; it might be all you need!

Hi folks.
Does anyone know of an application that can make custom indices, sum volume
for multiple instruments etc. while producing output accessible by MetaStock
and other applications reading MetaStock format data preferrably in the form
of new instrument data?
