 I think you can take the data into Excel directly. Create the monthly 
chart.. Open Excel. Drag the plot onto the Excel spreadsheet. The 
monthly data used for the plot is duplicated in the spreadsheet. You can 
save the spreadsheet in any form Excel permits.
