AS for inflation I have read somewhere that Jean Paul Getty bought the Hotel
Pierre in the early thrities for $1 Million. Lady Fairfax recently sold her
appartment in the Pierre (part of the Pierre has been converted into a coop)
for something around $20 Millions and you would be lucky to buy a studio
there for less than $1Million.
