For those of you who are not computer wizards, like me, here is some
guidance as to how to accomplish what neo suggests:

>From start menu, go to "run"
type in:  sysedit
select "system.ini" from the multiple windows that open
scroll down to find "[386Enh]" heading
under this heading, at bottom of other listings, is where you will type in
what neo suggests:  "ConservativeSwapfileUsage=1"
