I found this bit of stuff in Fritch's "Utility" module at
http://home.earthlink.net/~jfritch/

Interesting phrase "Run totally Naked" i.e., take over the whole Excel
interface.

"...
ActiveWorkbook.Worksheets("Command Sheet").Activate
Call Displays [this calls the "Displays" sub below]
Application.ActiveWindow.Zoom = 82
End Sub

Sub Auto_Close() [this puts everything back to normal]
Dim Thing As Object
With Application
    For Each Thing In .Toolbars
        Thing.Visible = False
    Next Thing
    .DisplayFullScreen = False
    .DisplayFormulaBar = True
    .DisplayStatusBar = True
    .WindowState = xlMaximized
End With
End Sub

Sub Displays() 'Run totally naked. Applies to Command Sheet and
Diagnostics sheet.
Dim Thing As Object
With Application.ActiveWindow
    .DisplayGridlines = False
    .DisplayHorizontalScrollBar = False
    .DisplayVerticalScrollBar = False
    .DisplayWorkbookTabs = False
    .DisplayHeadings = False
End With
Application.DisplayFullScreen = True
Application.DisplayFormulaBar = False
Application.DisplayStatusBar = False
For Each Thing In Application.Toolbars
    Thing.Visible = False
Next Thing
Application.ActiveSheet.DisplayAutomaticPageBreaks = False
End Sub

..."

============

Only thing left on the worksheet is the menu at the top.

Apparently he's producing a real time version. Lots of code to learn from.

Best regards

Walter
