RegCleaner cleans your 
Windows' Registry (doh!). 
However, rather than check filenames in the Registry and remove any keys or 
values if there isn't a matching file, RegCleaner gives you a list of all 
software listed in your Registry. You can then manually check through the list 
and remove any entries which pertain to long gone programs. If in doubt, don't 
delete! 
We found quite a few program entries where the program had been removed but 
which other Registry cleaners hadn't deleted. 
This isn't quite as easy as some of those other cleaners but it is certainly 
much more efficient! The interface is basic but highly functional and the 
Helpfile is a simple Readme file (though is quite adequate). 
Overall we gave this a big "thumbs up" and believe it is an essential tool in 
the fight to tame Windows. 
Get it!

Don't confuse this freeware program with the also free available RegClean 
program available from Microsoft.
