I've been having great success with getting data from Primate
(www.primate.com). It's very fast, and the fellow who runs it is good to
work with. They supply the software to download in Metastock format. For a
small fee, you can get software from Primate to download in ASCII format (it
will also do Metastock format). I've been using the Metastock format (all
of my trading programs will use either ASCII or Metastock). I'm going to
experiment with the ASCII format to see if switching to ASCII would be
beneficial and/or painless.
