Thank you for your latest comment.

I now have changed over to win98, and re-installed Conpuserve
in the hope that it will re-set my e-mail appearance.

Previously I could read the text but not the attachments (which were sent
with the text.

Now I am waiting for an e-mail (with an attachment) to see if it is
working.
