RE: MS 6.5 - Y2K ?

That is not what was said.

What was said was, the committee decided not to give CSI the ability to
write directly to MetaStock files. That is no different than what
happens now with Unfair Advantage if your data folders are over 255
issues.

There are many data vendors out there that don't write directly to
MetaStock files but rather create ASCII files which are converted to
MetaStock files by The DownLoader. That will not change.

We are not forcing you to any specific data vendor. We never have. The
DownLoader supports multiple vendors (always has)directly and converts
ASCII data from many other data vendors. Your choice of data vendors is
yours.

"The way I read this is that ALL Data Providers, but Reuters, are
competitors, and as such, will not get the new format. This is an
attempt
to force us to by our data from Reuters. As far as I am concerned, you
can
stick METASTOCK. QP2, anyone?"
