Well, "poles" means poles in old neighborhoods, and underground wires in
new ones. Doesn't matter. The fiber doesn't come into the home was my
point, underground folks still have coax from their home to the road where
the fiber passes by. Something about coax can handle the traffic just
fine, but only for short distances is why they use fiber. Pretty
interesting stuff -- kinda makes you wonder why they all don't do it, eh?
