List,

It's time for my version of "stupid human tricks". Evidence seems to be
building for a trip to the downside. So, instead of predicting a collapse
to 960, I'll just say it makes more sense to probe from the short side and
if you get real lucky intraday, you might be wise to take the short
position to bed with you. The market stopped before testing the important
resistance at 1151. Blowing through 1151 should take us to 1164 and then a
test of the old highs would be entirely possible. First we have to get
through 1151 and that's looking a bit iffy.

The chart "1110spzift" is a my own adaptation of Chick Goslin's Intelligent
Futures Trading system. Ton suggested the book and after reading it I
suggested it to Philip, Chuck, Gary and others. I haven't heard any
negative words about it. Nothing fancy...just common sense. A 9, 10 or an
11 week average; a moving average oscillator and an average of the moving
average oscillator. Anyway, it's showing classic divergence. Notice when
the market collapsed in July and September, it built the divergence by
forming what I call a "shoulder". Whether it's RSI or most other momentum
oscillators, "shoulders" can foster some really great moves.

Finally, the "acid-rock" chart, that glows in the dark, is a combination of
some tweaked custom indicators. I use my own numbers in formulas and this
collage is a combination of: SMI, LinRegSlp, TSI, Bollinger Band Histogram,
MACD Histogram,
Coppock Curve, IFT Moving Average Oscillator. It's real busy and I can
assure you that I look at each component individually, but I love the
colors.
