Have you checked into Primate at www.primate.com ?  It's not internet but
1-800-direct dial through their download program (cheap and simple).  You
can set it up for a number of formats including Metastock/Compuserve that
can be edited with the MS downloader.  I get 30 futures (lead contracts and
continuous) and a few stocks.  I can't really vouch for how correct the data
is except that I've noticed only one suspicious spike in 5 months or so.
They send correction notices to delete a certain day(s) data on your symbols
and redownload for the corrected data, although this is rare.  Don't know
where they get their data.
