http://xmlworks.com/quotemonster/ , download the Perl Standard Distribution file http://www.perl.com/CPAN-local/ports/win32/Standard/x86/perl5.00402-bindist04-bc.zip . You unzip it into an empty folder and make sure your unzip program creates the folders the files were originally in. Then you double click on Install.bat to install Perl. You may delete the folders and files the zip'd file created. However, you might want to move the "distfiles" folder to your installed Perl folder. Also, install QMH from the QuoteMonster page. Change the My $Header line to this: my $header = ',,,,,,';
Add the folder location of PERL.EXE to your DOS AUTOEXEC.BAT PATH statement. Reboot, then type Perl QMH start_date end_date. Date format is YYMMDD If you have trouble, email mailto:quotemonster@xxxxxxxxxxxx
Because PERL is a DOS program, you sort of have to be a computer expert to get the darn thing working.
