Re: Quotes-Plus Open, High, Low Data

If anyone should have the correct OHLC for the Dow it is to be the CBOE, being
licensed by the Dow Jones Co. to maintain a derivative market based on the
'daily' Dow's Averages mimute by minute market pricings.

Open High and Low quotes are just or I must even more important data values then Close
only is. The Charts Price Indicator's Bars are extreemly important for both Trading strategies
as Technical Analysing. In TA one of the important ways to discover Support & Resitance
levels is to do the Trend-Channeling on daily, weekly AND monthly etc. price charts. For this
ofcourse the Price Bars are the Indicators Type to be used.
Only just recently the Dow-InduAve have made a severe classical bottom on a long term
trends rising supportline, only clearly visable on a weekly Bar Chart.

Equis' Java data is thus the TRUE correct data.
Yahoo and QP2 data are the REAL Quote Monsters, appropiate name for blowing this
intra-daily clearly too far out of proportion. If Index calculation is not done properly, and
Yahoo's and QP2 is definitly NOT, then 99% of MS's indicators and as such their
readings are off as well.

Well, so much for CURRENT CHEAP - BUT IN THE END - DEAR data.
Just dump them.
Quote.com only charges U$ 9.95/monthly and their data is somewhat 98% OK.
