Thank's for your answer , for what I see it's ok for all the directory except the custom one who is the one where my formula are stored, the one we can be interested to import if we have a crash and export by security.
For what I read until now it's not easy as just a copy with explorer.
 
BTW on most point AMB is far better than metastock.

Hello,

Hmm... the only reason for "backup" utilities in Metastock is the fact that their formulas are NOT stored as plain text files.

In AmiBroker such problem does not exist because formulas *are* plain text files stored in ordinary folder (Formulas).
So copy entire Formulas folder (with all subfolder) and you are done. What can be easier than that ?

What's more, because .afl files are plain text files you can also use many widely available tools for synchronization, version/revision control,
"diff" utitilies that all work on plain text files.

I really don't understand why it's so complicated, For what I see I believe to have backup of my file when I copy the directory but I don't have , should I copy all them one by one in word ??
