Hello,

I don't quite why you would want to use RAM DISK as a "virtual drive"
when you can use AmiBroker in-built cache that is always going to be
faster than
RAM disk and would use less memory. With RAM disk same data are in fact
twice in RAM once in virtual disk and second time in AB internal cache.

So don't use RAM disk, use AB in-memory cache instead.

I get slightly less than a 2X speed up. Was hoping for significantly more. :( I remember reading posts in this forum that others have seen 4X - 6X increase. I tried running with and with out a swap file but that does not seem to make a big difference.
