It would be good to get this bug fixed - it has been an issue for MS Plugin user for years now - last time I chased it was way back in October 2003! (ticket # 13467).
I would also imagine there are quite a few MS Plugin users here - the MS database format is something of a standard and hence well supported by data providers, downloaders, utilities etc.
