Hello Rolly,

Hover the mouse pointer over "Database Information" in the AB status 
bar - a tool tip gives the database path, number of symbols and the 
number of quotes in the current symbol.

There's more to come in the future and if you can give me some more 
specifics on what you mean by "to check if the db contains up-to-date 
symbols against a market." I will include an answer in a future post, 
if I can, although I suspect I have already answered that question for 
Yahoo EOD users.

That would be nice for all folders in the Symbols Tree but then I am a 
self confessed GUI guy.

I think some of the power users are against bolting stuff on and anywat 
Tomasz is a speed freak from way back so he is against hanging too mcuh 
stuff off AB.
