Steve - Someone in this group recommended Conway and Behle's book,
Professional Stock Trading -System Design and Automation published in 2003?
Lots of pattern recognition logic, entry/exit rules with code written for
Tradestation.  In the book he describes and presents the code for
the most part on 6 systems from Daily Weekly trading to Intraday.

I enjoyed working through the examples and currently use some of the
setup and entry rules.  However I was not able to put together
a complete system and test to see how succesful their approach.
Or maybe I should say for the low complexity one named System N,
I was not able to get good results on daily bars.

Merry Christmas

Subject: [amibroker] OT: Any good book recommendations?

Hi,

Well, it's Christmas again and people are asking me what I want but I can't come up with much, so I thought I might ask for a couple of trading books. Anyone read anything lately that you learned something new or valuable from and would care to recommend? All suggestions welcome - thanks very much!

Steve
