Just thought I'd add to this from my own setup.

Moving AA windows, Formula editors works well.

The Gnome Linux desktop, Has the ability to use "Multiple" desktops.
It's built into the Desktop system - And works flawlessly.
(Unlike my woefull experiences of multiple desktops under windows). This
is a resonable alternative to Multiple Monitor setup.

Well, AmiBroker happily runs with it's windows splayed across multiple
desktops in linux without a hitch. Fantastic work Tomasz!
