I got the following system from these guys for a great price a few months ago. I called them and discussed the relative importance the various parts beforehand and they were very helpful then, and with a WIN XP installation problem afterward. The system is much quieter (fans) than I am used to, which is a nice extra. I have had no problems.  The motherboard had the capacity to run two video cards linked together (I only use one, and it has been satisfactory).

Subject: [amibroker] OT - Assembling New Computer

My current system (a 1.8 ghz intel) based PC bogs down and freezes
when I run multi variable optimizations while computer at work is fine.
(It's a 2.2 ghz)

Good excuse to put together a new system. I was thinking of the newer
AMD / Athlon 64 bit systems and was curious whether anyone has had any
positive or negative experiences with newer 64 bit m/boards or chips or
any other thoughts recomendations.

Regards to all..
