Yes, I already do this for my US stocks.  But I have no clue how to
do it for Japanese -- Yahoo does not offer the same service here.

Seems qp2 offers Japanese data, but I hate to pay for it since I'm
already paying for Download Quotes, and in fact recently renewed.
This is such a PITA, because the DL was very flexible.  I have half a
mind to simply roll back this "upgrade", since I don't use any of the
"splendid" security features anyway (except whatever they built in
that I cannot see; but I use my own firewall and AV, and I don't need
Windows to tell me how to run them).

Yikes what a disaster.
