thanks Tomasc,
indeed I needed TWSSOCKETCLIENT.DLL
For some reason it was not on my machine even though I run the
browser based TWS on this computer.
For others that might have the same problem. I went to the IB
discussion forum, then to "TWS API", then to "API Web Components" and
then I saved the file "InstallAX.exe" on my machine and executed it.
Then AB can see the IB plugin,
