[amibroker] How to debug AFL code

Is there a way to step through AFL code 
and see the value of variables at key points? The WriteIf function seems perfect 
for this, but I think it only works in the Guru Commentary window. I'm looking 
for something I can reference from within AFL code to help debug when the 
results I'm getting are not appropriate.
