Guno: part of the answer may be related to the number of bars of data you
collect and save. We learned today from Tomasz that this is so for RT.
23000 bars of data is about 60 days worth. Rick Parsons had set 30000 bars,
as have I. We have lost some of the data collected before August (which is
about 30000 1-min bars ago). Therefore, I have set bars at 100,000. This
is approximately 253 days of data and is the maximum that AB will allow.
Tomasz points out that 100,000 bars on 100 symbols is over 400 meg of HD
space, plus he says the program response slows way down.

I hope this is helpful to you; Tomasz will probably answer also--with
additional or correct information if the above it not correct.

I have the same problem with EOD data, I had in my data base data
from 1990 up to 2002, now the data prior to 2001 seems missing. what
could have caused this.

the QQQ history only goes back to 8/2/02.
