Actually it didn't help. Because I had a directory preloaded, when I 
did exactly as you said it stuffed up my directory tree. Mainly 
becuase after "open workshett" I selected Ami Broker, my existing 
directory for the new directory. Anyway I had to do some tedious cut 
and paste to resurrect things. The additiopnal information required 
was "if you already have a data set create a new directory and save 
your old before "OK".
