Hello,

I just want to give you some information about cool stuff coming up
in the next release of AmiBroker. Some of them are already known from to-do list
available on AmiBroker web site, some are new ones. Here comes the list (not complete):

1. New indicators: this will include Parabolic SAR (stop-and-reverse) and ADX indicator
2. The ability to search for a stock by name, for when the ticker is unknown New Feature User Interface
3. Auto-extending trendlines, defining colors and styles (dotted, thick) for trendlines
4. Year-To-Date in the Analysis meny
5. A manual entry for commissions in the portfolio, regardless of how the table works
6. Candlestick fill colors definable
7. $PRICEMUL command allowing multiplying prices by definable factor
8. Detailed statistics after back-testing your system
9. New built-in functions in AFL: including SAR() and RS() - relative strength now available also in AFL

And for all of you having very large databases ( >100MB ) two very imporant performance improvements:

10. Reorganized database file layout and enhanced database engine (separate subdirectories for tickers beginning with each letter an
d digit) - improves database loading/saving times dramatically (upto 3 times when partial loading is on)

11. ASCII Import (for example AmiQuote .AQH files) speeded up to 10 times for large files.

The list is not complete so you will see more new features in the final version 3.4.

Within 2 weeks I will post first beta version for PC.

As for Amiga version: currently available is 3.30beta and there will be no normal "3.30" for Amiga -
instead a new beta-3.4 will be released shortly after PC version.

Best regards,
Tomasz Janeczko
