Australian MegaQuote.ASX Importer:
NEW - all or partial indices can now be imported
NEW - all or partial EOD dataset imports can be configured
- default setting is partial
This is the first time one MegaQuote importer could be configured to
work this way - choose all or some data. It is controlled by an
easy-to-edit text file.
All other MegaQuote importers will be changed to operate in the same
manner. This will allow all MegaQuote users to control the volume of
stock data imported each day - all data, or just data for the current
database.
The Australian Stock Exchange has:
- more than 2630 stocks in daily lists
- ~2045 active stocks
- ~1500 stock updates/day
- 48 indices
About 5 minutes are needed to enter a complete EOD set of changes,
using an AGA '030/25EC.
