Yep, I guess that's true once you get above 2nd order. I wonder how a
Bessel filter compares to Alex's filter? It has the characteristic of
maximally flat group delay. As I recall, a 4th order Bessel is down
something like 7.5dB at Fc. Here's a Rane note about them.
