OT: Multiple Video Cards

I suspect we've been thru this before, but I need to ask again.

Can one actually put more than two video cards in Windows (2000)?

I have tried a dual Matrox AGP and a single PCI, but the OS doesn't
recognize the PCI card.  But it will recognize two single PCI cards.
If I use a single AGP and two single PCI cards, it won't recognize the
third card.  I'm wondering if a single AGP and a dual PCI will work.

Any rec's ?
