IIRC, Fry's has a shorter return period for memory, maybe 14 days. If you are 
still able, return it ASAP if you even suspect it's bad. And pay attention to 
the prior warnings about the possibilities of static damage. Some of the 
traces on this whiz-bang memory are only a handful of molecules thick. Avoid 
carpeting when you open up your case (I only work on mine in the kitchen), 
use a good anti-static strap, avoid touching any contacts, etc.
