are new resource notifications unpopular or helpful

I've received some comments from visitors to www.traders2traders.com
<http://www.traders2traders.com>  and people who've subscribed to the site's
email list server, that they'd rather not receive notification of new links
or postings. As we're all quicker to complain than encourage, it would be
very helpful if you could visit the site and anonymously check your
preference in a poll that's on the home page. It'll take less than a few
seconds and the progressive results are immediately available.
