I once asked TS6 how to setup a proxy and below is their explanation:

Dear Robert,

Here are the instructions that we have available for going through a
firewall. These instruction should be all that a system administrator needs
to get you through the correct ports.

Here is the full information that we have for firewalls.

In order to download and run TradeStation 6 from behind a proxy or firewall
your network must be configured to allow the following:

Incoming and outgoing TCP/IP connection through port 11000, 11001, 11010 and
11020.

Incoming and outgoing TCP/IP connection to the following address ranges:
208.62.27.xxx, 209.39.90.xxx and 216.0.225.xxx. and 63.99.207.xxx

You should provide this information to your network administrator if you
have trouble either downloading the program or connecting to the service to
get data.

Often times proxy servers or firewalls will block certain ports or
addresses. To make sure that this is not occurring, see if you can make a
Telnet connection to 209.39.90.100 and 208.62.27.152 from inside your proxy.
You should make sure that the Telnet connection is not immediately dropped
after connection. The timeout settings of your proxy may have to be adjusted
so that the connection will not be dropped immediately.

You can also use the following commands from a DOS prompt to test for this
problem:

tracert 208.62.27.152
and
tracert 209.39.90.100

Example 1 shows a successful connection and Example 2 shows a connection
that timed out.

      Example 1:

      C:\\WINDOWS>tracert 209.39.90.100 Tracing route to 209.39.90.100 over
