Dow Jones data from 1896 on

I will always have a great debt with this list...

Once someone here asked for Dow Jones data back from 1900s...

Well I initially suggested freelunch.com (these were only monthly data but
free) but recently I have discovered a new site to provide DAILY data since
1896. Unfortunately there is a small fee to pay and there is no way to grab
the data from the webpage since there are hidden characters in the string
and you need to use a converter to Excel provided when you pay their small
fees.

The site is www.economomagic.com and there are many other time series (more
fundamentally related to say the truth).

I do not remember the name of the person so please accept my apologies if
you find this mail not appropriate.
