I use it. I like it because it gets me "out of the gate" faster, meaning I
can start trading 2 units without having to wait for the my account to
double. Mostly, this is a result of not being able to trade fractional
contracts. My account grows a lot faster early on with fixed ratio compared
to fixed fractional postition sizing. There is a crossover point at which I
prefer to switch back to fixed fractional. If it were possible to trade
fractional contracts, I'd probably stick with fixed fractional.
