Gents,
Here is the framework for a solution using MSN Messenger, perl, and TS. I
haven't worked out the details but the concept should work.
Get SAMessenger from http://www.networksimplicity.com/utils/
get perl from www.activestate.com
Here is where I'm stuck though. How do I pass the perl command line out of
TS? Is there a way to execute a command line within TS2000 or via EL? I
thought saw a post on CALL or EXEC once before but can't find them
A kludge would be to write the command line string to a file and have some
external program monitor for the existence of said file and execute it - but
that defeats the purpose of "instant messaging".
