what's better than Excel & mytrack

I'd appreciate any suggestions that's an improvement on watching open
positions using Excel and mytrack (DDE). I have several spreadsheets and
positions--stocks, options, futures-but mytrack often applies the brakes to
bandwidth, and wants to keep charging more and more for data for this
combination.
