Any ideas what system this is?

I'm trying to recall a system which I'm fairly certain
was originally developed by a well known female
trader.  The rules go something like this:

Long Entry: Price breaks above a band, say Close + x. 
Price retraces below a lower band, say Close + x/y.  
Price breaks back above the lower band. That's the
entry. Can't remember the exit, but it's the entry
that interests me.

Any ideas?
