I personally believe that what is done with this list is the responsibility
of the individual(s) who establish and maintain this list.
Frankly if I had to bear the cost (time and dollar wise) to create and
maintain such a list you can bet I would be looking for some kind
of support from either the members (pay to belong) or by use of
advertising/links to related sites/companies that might have services
or products which would be of interest to the member.
What I really wonder is why the question was ever asked in the
first place. Make a decision about what you want to do and
then simply tell us "freeloaders".
