portfolio maximizer/win2k install error

Hi,

I got the following error message when trying to install the y2k compliant
version of  omega portfolio maximizer...

You cannot install this VB5 application without the latest service pack
first being installed onto this computer. Please install the latest Win NT
service pack and rerun this installation.

Interesting, given that win2k is later than the latest NT service pack at
the time this software was written.  Anyone ever run into this or know how
to make it work?
