I agree, but in this case what does the developer care? The developer
doesn't support TS4 anymore.

I gave Omega every opportunity to take me on as a customer. I
wanted to purchase TradeStation legitimately. I was interested in
developing systems that traded infrequently, thereby disqualifying
me as an account holder. I am in the United States, disqualifying
me as a purchaser. They actually refused me as a customer, both
by telephone and in e-mail. My recourse was to purchase a copy of
Prosuite 2000i on eBay.

I don't think that I cheated Omega out of anything. I don't think
I would have cheated Omega even if I bought a pirated copy or some
cracking software. They didn't want me as a customer, and they said
so. Anything I do with their software for my own use is therefore
irrelevant to them.

While I agree that questions about pirating or hacking don't belong
on this mailing list, I don't agree that Phil (who asked about it)
is cheating anybody. If TS4 will work for him, and Omega won't sell
it or support it, then who is he cheating?

Must my 2 cents.
