I am using Windows 2000 SP 1 on a Dell computer. I have Microsoft IE 5.5
SP2 installed. After downloading and installing Windows 2000 SP2, I can
access my ISPs but I am not able to retrieve my email in Outlook 2000 or
access web pages in IE (get messages that page cannot be displayed). When I
uninstall Windows 2000 SP 2 and revert back to SP 1, everything goes back to
normal and I can get my email and access web pages.
Has anyone had similar experience? Does anyone know what might be the
problem? I spoke with technical support of one ISP and they said that they
were unaware of any problem with Windows 2000 SP 2.
