TS4 and SC4 are compatible with NT4/win2000.

To deal with the memory requirement, right click
on the server icon on your desktop and select
the option "Run in separate memory space".

First, that should not have an is in front of the I, and reprise is spelled
wrong. Picky picky.
I called Tradestation and they switched me to the department which handles
SC. The problem appears to be that there are too many memory resident
programs running...
And I'm going to conjecture here ... SC 4.0 apparently is a 16bit
program.
I believe that, in order to run 16-bit programs under win32, they have to
think they own an entire memory space ... so, in order to run, the program
must have a certain amount of *contiguous* bytes. Win32 programs are
smarter than that and don't have that requirement. Consequently, when
there are memory resident programs the memory space becomes fragmented, and
while there is enough space for the program to run, there is not enough
contiguous space. That's my conjecture anyway. Comments and edification
are welcomed.
  Until I downloaded scb10, I didn't realize SC was a 16 bit program. I am,
to say the least, a bit surprised. Does this mean that SC won't be
compatible with the NT/2000/XP versions of Windows ?

   Thanks,

and thanks again, every one, for your help,

    Judy
