I think John is on the right track.

We do not need more laws, regulation, government intervention, etc.  That
just interferes with what we want, a competitive market for the supply of
reliable, real-time data.

The solution is to use your wallet in selecting the best data provider for
your needs.  If that is speed, find out who the fastest is and go with them.
That will reward the supplier who meets your needs best with increased
profits and an increased abililty to continue to satisfy your needs.

Please, no more laws and government!
