Excell for newbie?

Would like to know the best way to start using excell for trading
indicators etc.   I would have to start from the basics.  Have never used
excell or any spreadsheets before.
Don't even know how to get futures data into excell to chart pricest.  I
would be trying some of the basic indicators etc.
 Any ideas on how to get the learning curve in fast gear, would be helpfull.
