I'd hazard a guess that there wasn't supposed to be an outage on any of
their servers :). I suspect the major upgrade mentioned to me crashed "the
system" and has now been sent to a guru or two. The rt backup didn't work
quite as well as imagined. Imagine that?

I just get the digest, not individual list e-mails in real time, so I didn't
see this issue until this morning (1/10).  I checked yesterday's data on a
one-minute chart (which has been open and collecting data continuously) and
it shows no such data gap.  Also, I am certain that I would have noticed the
gap in real time yesterday, had it occurred.  The only possible explanation
is that the outage affected only some of their servers.
