Problem re-installing TS4

Hello omega-list,

  I'm trying to re-install TS4 from the original program CD.
Installation goes for about 5 seconds and then I get a message
"Ininst30 This program has performed an illegal operation and will be
shut down."

If I go directly to setup.exe I get an error message
"Setup unable to initialize the installation program.  The script file
may be bad.  Erro 502."

I know I have re-installed from this disk before but not for 1 1/2
years. I'm running Win98 (2ed).  I'm unable to find the program
mentioned.

any suggestions?  Thanks.
