pattern recognition

I'm wondering if anyone has used a Neural network to analyze chart patterns
successfully, in particular a 1-2-3 wave pattern, and then considered using
the "recognized' pattern as a signal into tradestation to enter/exit a
trade. If anyone has ideas/experience or thoughts on this, I'd appreciate an
email.
